Senior Litigation Associate - Remote

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Litigation Associate to join one of the UK’s leading education litigation practices. The role is fully remote and offers the chance to work on high‑profile disputes for universities, colleges and private education providers.

Key responsibilities

• Represent educational institutions in student breach of contract, Equality Act, judicial review, consumer law and regulatory disputes.
• Handle broader commercial matters when required, managing each case from instruction through to resolution.
• Work closely with senior client stakeholders to balance legal, commercial and reputational considerations.
• Maintain a strategic, non‑volume‑driven approach, allowing time for thoughtful advice.

Required profile

• 6+ years post‑qualification experience (PQE) in civil litigation.
• Strong technical ability and thorough knowledge of the Civil Procedure Rules.
• Proven track record of managing matters independently.
• Experience in commercial, personal injury, insurance, professional negligence or general civil litigation is desirable.
• Experience in education or consumer disputes is advantageous but not essential.
