Senior MEICA Estimator (REMOTE)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Senior MEICA Estimator to join a well‑established infrastructure contractor supporting a growing portfolio of water and utility projects. The role is primarily remote, with occasional travel to regional offices, and offers the chance to work on complex infrastructure schemes within a collaborative, forward‑thinking team.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare accurate and competitive cost estimates for water and infrastructure schemes.
• Review tender documentation, assess project risks and opportunities.
• Develop cost plans and obtain supplier and subcontractor quotations.
• Contribute to bid submissions and work closely with operational, commercial and technical teams.
• Interpret technical specifications, drawings and scope documents.
• Support framework agreements and long‑term capital delivery programmes.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Senior Estimator, MEICA Estimator, Estimating Engineer or Proposals Engineer.
• Strong background within the UK water sector, including water treatment, wastewater treatment, pumping stations and clean water projects.
• Demonstrable pre‑construction and tendering experience.
• Ability to interpret technical specifications, drawings and scope documents.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• CSCS White Card or equivalent (preferred).
• Full UK driving licence (preferred).
