Senior MEP Design Manager

About the role

As a Senior MEP Design Manager at Dalkia UK, you will lead the technical strategy for complex MEP projects during the pre‑construction phase. You will ensure designs are coordinated, compliant and de‑risk projects before they reach the site.

Key responsibilities

• Own design and technical management throughout pre‑construction.
• Develop and align technical strategies and deliverable plans with project goals.
• Identify, manage and mitigate design and technical risks.
• Lead technical reviews, challenge design solutions and drive value engineering.
• Ensure effective coordination across multidisciplinary teams.
• Engage specialist technical resources at the right stage.
• Maintain compliance with the Building Safety Act, CDM Regulations and industry standards.
• Manage relationships with clients, consultants, supply‑chain partners and internal stakeholders.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading MEP design management on complex construction projects.
• Strong understanding of pre‑construction processes and technical risk mitigation.
• Collaborative leadership style with the ability to influence multidisciplinary teams.
