Senior Pensions Administrator

About the role

We are partnering with a fast‑growing independent pensions consultancy to strengthen its DB pension team. As a Senior Pensions Administrator you will deepen your technical expertise while guiding members and clients through the complexities of defined benefit schemes.

Key responsibilities

• Support day‑to‑day administration of multiple DB pension schemes.
• Perform, verify and quality‑check pension calculations.
• Communicate with members, trustees, clients and third‑party providers.
• Resolve complex queries and assist members throughout their pension journey.
• Mentor junior colleagues and contribute to overall team performance.
• Ensure service delivery meets accuracy standards and agreed timelines.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of experience in pensions administration.
• Strong knowledge of defined benefit pension schemes and ability to interpret scheme rules.
• Excellent communication and client‑service skills.
• Proactive, organised and capable of working independently.
• Interest in progressing towards PMI qualifications.
