Senior Pensions Analyst - Calculations & Benefits

About the role

Isio is expanding its Client Onboarding and Change team and seeks a Senior Pensions Analyst to lead calculations and benefits work across pension administration projects. The role sits at the intersection of business, technical, and operational teams, supporting implementations from small to large scale.

Key responsibilities

• Evaluate and document business processes.
• Create and sign‑off robust calculation proformas and test grids.
• Conduct user acceptance testing and investigate calculation discrepancies.
• Communicate design changes to stakeholders, technical teams and management.
• Develop training materials and act as liaison between users and technical teams.
• Identify improvement opportunities and analyse options to meet business needs.
• Manage workflow, support junior members and provide technical guidance.
• Lead pension administration calculation implementations and transformation projects.
• Produce presentations for varied stakeholders and embed risk‑management frameworks.
• Offer technical advice, ensure processes are embedded into BAU, and perform post‑implementation analysis.

Required profile

• Strong Excel proficiency and meticulous attention to detail.
• Good understanding of pension scheme rules.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Technical understanding with a commercial outlook and entrepreneurial mindset.
