Senior Professional Indemnity Underwriter

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Professional Indemnity Underwriter to join our agile MGA in London. You will have full capacity and investment to build a profitable book of PI insurance across the UK, working closely with brokers and senior leadership.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and manage a profitable portfolio of Professional Indemnity business.
• Maintain and grow strong broker relationships to source new business.
• Mentor and support junior underwriters, acting as a referral point for complex cases.
• Provide technical underwriting expertise across traditional professional sectors.
• Collaborate with the team to drive growth and meet profitability targets.

Required profile

• Senior underwriting experience with deep knowledge of Professional Indemnity products.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with a focus on growth and profitability.
• Proven ability to build and maintain broker relationships.
• Willingness to mentor junior staff and share expertise.
