Senior Salesforce Developer – Contract (Hybrid)

About the role

Our client, a leading provider of Energy & Utilities Cloud solutions, is looking for a Senior Salesforce Developer on a contract basis. The role is based in Manchester with a hybrid working model, offering the chance to design and deliver scalable Salesforce applications for the utilities sector.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and enhance Salesforce solutions using Apex, Lightning Web Components, OmniStudio and Flows.
• Design and maintain integrations with external systems via REST and SOAP APIs, Platform Events and Change Data Capture.
• Support release management, deployments and CI/CD pipelines.
• Conduct code reviews, testing and technical troubleshooting to ensure platform stability and performance.
• Produce technical documentation and collaborate with business stakeholders.

Required profile

• Proven commercial experience as a Salesforce developer, preferably with Energy & Utilities Cloud.
• Strong understanding of Salesforce security model, data architecture and governor limits.
• Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
• Excellent communication and problem‑solving abilities.
