Senior Salesforce Engineer

About the role

As our next Senior Engineer (Salesforce), you'll play a key role in helping us build the UK's go‑to home improvement marketplace. You’ll sit within the Enterprise Engineering team, owning the Salesforce org, critical workflows and how Salesforce integrates with the wider tech stack.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain high‑performance solutions across Apex, LWC and advanced declarative features in Sales and Service clouds, as well as integrations with Zuora, Retool, Braze and Node/Typescript services on Kubernetes/GCP.
• Use AI coding tools confidently to accelerate development while maintaining quality.
• Architect secure, scalable integrations between Salesforce and core services, including inbound/outbound REST APIs and platform‑event‑driven workflows.
• Collaborate with distributed engineering and data teams to ensure clean data flow and cohesive system architecture.
• Own and improve deployment pipelines spanning Salesforce and other services for smooth, automated releases.
• Champion code quality through thorough testing, solid code reviews and mentorship on AI‑assisted development.

Required profile

• Solid, hands‑on software engineering experience with strong Salesforce development across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud and DevOps.
• Proven ability to write clean, asynchronous Apex (triggers, batch, queueable), responsive LWC components and complex Flows.
• Experience with AI‑driven coding methods, providing appropriate context and constraints for production‑ready output.
• Hands‑on experience with enterprise integration patterns, large data volumes, platform events, API error handling and CI/CD pipelines.
