Senior Software Engineer

About the role

Lynx Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join a technology consultancy delivering cloud‑native solutions for enterprise clients. The role blends hands‑on development with technical consulting, allowing you to shape architecture, guide stakeholders, and build high‑quality applications using modern Microsoft technologies.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and deliver cloud‑native applications on Microsoft Azure.
• Build scalable, secure, event‑driven solutions using .NET, React and TypeScript.
• Contribute to technical architecture, solution design and API strategy.
• Review code, mentor junior engineers and promote engineering best practices.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines, DevOps processes and automated testing.
• Maintain APIs and integration services, ensuring reliability and performance.
• Troubleshoot complex production issues and improve system monitoring.
• Collaborate closely with clients and stakeholders throughout project delivery.

Required profile

• 5+ years of commercial software engineering experience.
• Strong background in C#/.NET development.
• Experience with React, JavaScript and TypeScript.
• Proven expertise in cloud‑native development on Microsoft Azure.
• Solid understanding of API design, event‑driven architecture and distributed systems.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD and automated testing.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• IT/Technology‑related university degree (minimum 2:1).
