Senior Specialist, Finance (Cost Optimization Initiative)

About the role

Save the Children International is seeking a Senior Specialist in Finance to lead the Cost Optimisation Initiative. You will provide data‑driven insights, advanced analytics and financial modelling to help the organisation achieve its 2026‑2030 cost‑efficiency targets while enhancing value for money.

Key responsibilities

• Lead comprehensive financial analysis of cost structures across country offices and global teams.
• Develop sophisticated cost‑driver models and scenario analyses to identify inefficiencies.
• Build and maintain current and future‑state cost baselines and operational benchmarks.
• Partner with global finance, programme, and operational leaders to validate and track optimisation opportunities.
• Provide performance intelligence and reporting to support strategic decision‑making.

Required profile

• Proven experience in senior finance roles within large, matrixed organisations, preferably NGOs.
• Strong analytical mindset with ability to translate complex data into actionable recommendations.
• Excellent communication skills to influence stakeholders at global and country levels.
