Senior Technical Implementation Engineer – UK

About the role

Second Front Systems is looking for a senior engineer to lead the deployment and scaling of its Game Warden DevSecOps platform for UK government, NATO and secure cloud customers. The role is hands‑on, independent and requires frequent interaction with senior stakeholders and on‑site presence across the UK.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end technical implementations for UK government and secure cloud environments, from scoping through live deployment.
• Serve as the primary technical contact for UK customers, providing updates, managing expectations and resolving issues with minimal escalation.
• Provide expert Kubernetes, Docker and Keycloak support, ensuring best practices in classified and sensitive settings.
• Coordinate requirements across Product, Engineering and Growth teams, proactively removing blockers.
• Continuously improve implementation processes, tooling and UK‑specific deployment patterns based on customer feedback.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience delivering complex technical implementations or DevOps projects independently.
• Strong hands‑on knowledge of Kubernetes, Docker, Keycloak and container orchestration at scale.
• Experience with UK defence, SaaS or cloud‑based environments and familiarity with government security frameworks (e.g., JSP 604, Secure By Design).
• Multi‑cloud experience across AWS, Azure and GCP.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to manage multiple concurrent workstreams.
