Senior Technical Lead – Sitecore & AI

About the role

Our client is seeking two Senior Technical Leads to drive the architecture and delivery of enterprise‑scale Sitecore digital experience platforms, embedding AI tooling throughout the software development lifecycle. The role combines strategic design, hands‑on engineering and mentorship of a delivery team, and is based in London with a hybrid working model.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end technical architecture and delivery of Sitecore‑based digital experience platforms.
• Define and maintain technical standards, architectural patterns and code‑quality practices.
• Conduct solution‑design workshops and translate business requirements into scalable solutions.
• Oversee integrations with third‑party platforms such as CRMs, CDPs, DAMs, search engines and marketing automation tools.
• Perform technical code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices.
• Produce high‑level and detailed technical solution estimates and review SOWs.
• Deliver technical documentation during discovery and pre‑sales phases.
• Identify technical risks, support re‑estimation and work closely with Project Managers and Solution Architects.
• Lead, mentor and develop Sitecore developers and act as the primary technical contact for clients.
• Facilitate knowledge sharing, drive innovation initiatives and contribute to the Sitecore AI roadmap.

Required profile

• Excellent written and spoken English; fluent German (professional level) for one position.
• Proven senior‑level experience with AI‑enabled software development and modern engineering practices.
• Strong technical leadership and ability to bridge client requirements, solution design and hands‑on engineering.
• Willingness to work hybrid with occasional travel as required.
