Senior Technical Product Manager - Vault Core

About the role

Thought Machine is looking for a Senior Technical Product Manager to lead the strategy and roadmap of Vault Core, its flagship cloud‑native core banking platform. You will work closely with engineering leaders to solve challenges around data integrity, performance at scale, and the developer experience for financial product teams.

Key responsibilities

• Own and drive the Vault Core product roadmap, ensuring industry‑leading configurability, performance and resilience.
• Collaborate with engineering, GTM, and Customer Success to align product capabilities with client needs and adoption goals.
• Define APIs and user journeys that enable banks to deliver seamless customer experiences.
• Prioritise technical debt, scalability improvements and new feature development based on market feedback.

Required profile

• Proven experience at the intersection of deep technical domains and high‑level product strategy.
• Strong commercial instincts and a track record of delivering measurable outcomes for enterprise customers.
• Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear product requirements.

Required skills

• Python (experience with Python‑based smart contracts is a plus).
• Cloud platforms: AWS, Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Microsoft Azure.
• API design and management.
• Understanding of core banking systems and financial services workflows.
