Senior Technical Support Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Technical Support Engineer to provide expert technical and application advice to HydraForce customers and internal teams. Based in our purpose‑built Birmingham facility, you will act as the bridge between field personnel, sales, and product development, ensuring customers receive accurate, reliable hydraulic solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive technical support and application guidance for hydraulic products and integrated circuits.
• Project‑manage new product development from concept through end‑of‑life, collaborating with internal departments.
• Review and process system design requests, generating cost‑analysis breakdowns for quotations.
• Develop, test, and produce detailed reports on custom hydraulic integrated circuits.
• Provide on‑site installation support, troubleshooting, and training for customers and internal staff.
• Participate in high‑level technical discussions at customer sites and support overseas exhibitions.
• Assist production with test control plans and ensure compliance with ISO, PPAP, and APQP requirements.

Required profile

• Proven experience in hydraulic systems and electro‑hydraulic control integration.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to produce accurate cost analyses.
• Excellent communication skills for interfacing with customers, sales, and engineering teams.
• Ability to manage projects independently and meet deadlines.
