Service Accountant

About the role
The Service Accountant provides professional financial advice and support to a service division, ensuring sound financial management aligned with regulatory and accounting standards. You will work closely with the service directorate to deliver accurate budgeting, monitoring, and account closure.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare and coordinate revenue and capital budgets for the service area.
- Monitor budget performance and report variances.
- Close accounts and produce final financial statements.
- Maintain strong relationships with the service directorate while upholding financial best practices.
- Ensure compliance with relevant accounting regulations and internal policies.
Required profile
- Solid understanding of business operations and the regulatory/accounting regime.
- Ability to work collaboratively with senior stakeholders.
