Service Manager – Warranty

About the role

The Service Manager (Warranty) will lead the Warranty Department, ensuring timely RMA responses and driving continuous improvement across hydraulic motion‑control solutions for OEM customers.

Key responsibilities

• Provide management and guidance to the Warranty Department to meet RMA response targets.
• Develop and maintain relationships with manufacturing, production, supply management and quality teams.
• Visit customer production facilities to resolve recurring production issues and suggest design modifications.
• Support supplier quality, monitor non‑conformances and negotiate quality metrics.
• Analyse warranty trends, drive cost‑reduction initiatives and ensure timely financial closure of claims.

Required profile

• Minimum HNC/HND in mechanical engineering with proven experience in a similar role.
• Strong understanding of lean manufacturing and quality tools such as 8D, TOPS and RCA.
• Experience with QMS and ISO 14001 & ISO 9001 standards.
• Ability to work independently, communicate effectively and prioritize multiple activities.
