Site Services Technician – Mechanical

About the role

We are looking for a Mechanical Site Services Technician to join Lintott’s team, delivering high‑quality mechanical installations for water and wastewater treatment projects across Scotland. The role involves both factory work and on‑site installation, ensuring safety, efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Install, manufacture or modify mechanical and process equipment to company standards.
• Carry out fault finding and remedial work promptly.
• Liaise with site and office staff, providing clear communication and feedback.
• Record site data, complete reports and capture photographic evidence.
• Supervise and coordinate contractors to maintain Lintott’s reputation for quality.
• Prepare and maintain RAMS and other health‑and‑safety documentation.
• Maintain a clean, safe and organised work environment, including equipment and vehicles.
• Keep a detailed site diary and share it with the planner/manager.

Required profile

• Apprenticeship or equivalent qualification in a relevant mechanical/electrical discipline.
• Minimum 3 years of mechanical installation experience, preferably in a customer‑focused environment.
• Knowledge of the water industry and ability to interpret design drawings.
• Health and safety awareness and CSCS certification.
