Software Engineer – Active Safety Systems

About the role

Robert Bosch LLC is seeking multiple Software Engineers to develop active safety systems such as brake modulators and electronic brake boosters. You will collaborate with a full development team, including project leaders, fellow developers, and calibration engineers, to deliver customer‑focused solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Develop software for active safety products with a focus on brake systems.
• Perform requirements engineering with customers and internal teams.
• Design, implement, and test solutions to meet component and system level requirements.
• Validate software through in‑vehicle and laboratory testing following ISO 26262 and ASPICE guidelines.
• Participate in customer and internal meetings and support software release procedures.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, or Computer Engineering.
• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Software Engineer or System Engineer in automotive, motorsports, or heavy‑equipment industries.
• Hands‑on experience with electronic stability control (ABS/TCS/ESC), brake system/booster projects, and complex software architecture.
• Experience in brake system engineering and chassis control technology.
