Software Engineer – D2C Team (London)

About the role

Join Sony Music Entertainment’s Product Design Engineering and Global Operations team as a Software Engineer on the D2C squad, based in King’s Cross, London. You’ll help build and enhance the technology powering artist, label and merchandise stores worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to deliver products that empower artists and record labels globally.
• Contribute across all architecture layers to create high‑quality, robust user experiences.
• Write clean, tested, and maintainable code.
• Partner with product management to translate client requirements into technical solutions.
• Participate in system re‑architecture, refinement and technical design.

Required profile

• Minimum 4 years of professional software development experience.
• Proven experience with distributed, scalable systems.
• Familiarity with the full software development lifecycle and agile methodologies.
