Software Project Manager

About the role

The Software Project Manager (SPM) enables effective and predictable software delivery across one or more development teams. Reporting to the Software Delivery Manager, the SPM works closely with developers, product owners and technical leadership to drive Scrum practices and maintain delivery transparency.

Key responsibilities

• Facilitate Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand‑ups, reviews and retrospectives, ensuring focused and productive meetings.
• Identify and remove blockers by coordinating with team members, stakeholders and other departments to resolve dependencies.
• Promote continuous improvement by guiding teams to assess performance, act on retrospective outcomes and measure progress.
• Coach the Scrum team on self‑management, collaboration, accountability and Scrum principles.
• Track and communicate delivery health using metrics to provide visibility on progress, risks, dependencies and performance.

Required profile

• Strong interpersonal skills for mentoring, coaching, collaboration and team building.
• Excellent analytical, planning and organizational abilities with capacity to manage competing demands.
• Solid experience with Agile tools such as Jira, Confluence, Smartsheets, Balsamiq and standard Office applications.
• Outstanding oral and written communication, capable of interacting with business and IT stakeholders at all levels, including executives.
• Creative problem‑solving mindset that balances detail orientation with a big‑picture view.

Required skills

• Jira and Confluence for Agile project tracking.
• Smartsheets and Balsamiq for planning and design.
• Deep knowledge of Scrum and Agile delivery practices.
• Understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) models.
