About the role
We are seeking an experienced Sprinkler Project Manager to lead fire protection projects for a well‑known company in the fire industry. You will coordinate all phases of the project, ensuring timely delivery, budget control and client satisfaction.
Key responsibilities
- Lead project initiation and handover meetings with sales, design, QS, production and maintenance teams.
- Produce and maintain the project programme and central file records.
- Communicate with clients throughout the project lifecycle.
- Attend Cost To Complete (CTC) meetings and manage material and labour costs.
- Prepare and submit end‑of‑project documentation such as O&M manuals, as‑fitted drawings and certifications.
- Brief, qualify and support installers; raise Purchase Order Requests with Tier 1 suppliers.
- Manage on‑site resources, resolve issues and keep the programme on track.
- Participate in internal and third‑party audits, record and resolve supplier non‑conformities.
- Conduct scheduled on‑site inspections, toolbox talks and complete health & safety paperwork (RAMs, attendance sheets).
Required profile
- Working knowledge of BS EN 12845 and LPS1048 fire‑sprinkler schemes.
- Proficiency with engineering drawings.
- LPCB Testing & Commissioning Module 2 and Site Inspection Module 1 competence.
- Familiarity with PRINCE2 project‑management methodology.
- Experience managing large‑budget construction projects and on‑site labour.
- Valid SMSTS and CSCS cards.
- Understanding of CDM management principles.
- Extensive experience producing RAMs, quality plans, project plans, cost sheets and trackers.
- Strong commercial acumen to identify cost savings.

What we offer
- Competitive salary £55,000‑£60,000 per year.
- 25 days holiday plus bank holidays and the option to purchase 5 additional days.
