Staff Software Engineer - Flights

About the role

Perk is looking for a Staff Software Engineer to lead the technical vision of its fast‑growing Flights area. You will own end‑to‑end feature delivery, mentor engineers, and shape the architecture of complex flight‑booking services.

Key responsibilities

• Own technical vision across multiple teams, shaping annual and quarterly plans.
• Contribute hands‑on code within one or two squads while mentoring engineers and unblocking delivery.
• Define architectural direction, propose scaling changes and ensure reliability of flight‑booking services.
• Coordinate cross‑team initiatives, align stakeholders and drive alignment across the organisation.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading multi‑team technical initiatives and managing dependencies.
• End‑to‑end product engineering mindset, from problem discovery to deployment and impact measurement.
• Experience building and operating reliable services (“you build it, you run it”).
• Background in complex domains such as flights, travel, fintech or similar.
