Staff Software Engineer, Mobile

About the role

Ripple is looking for a Staff Software Engineer, Mobile to join the Palisade team – our flagship wallet‑as‑a‑service platform that enables businesses, fintechs and banks to build digital‑asset treasury, payment and exchange solutions. You will lead the design and delivery of high‑quality, cross‑platform mobile experiences that power real‑world crypto use cases.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain React Native applications for iOS and Android using TypeScript.
• Bridge gaps with native modules written in Swift, Kotlin or Objective‑C when required.
• Implement complex forms with robust validation and a seamless data‑entry experience.
• Own the full release lifecycle, including certificate management, signing and deployment to the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.
• Create polished, responsive UI using Styled Components or equivalent styling solutions.
• Collaborate closely with designers (Figma) and product teams to translate UX concepts into production‑ready code.
• Write clean, DRY code, conduct thorough code reviews and enforce best‑practice standards.
• Develop and maintain automated mobile tests to ensure reliability across devices.
• Optimize performance for smooth animations, fast launch times and efficient memory usage.
• Leverage appropriate tooling, including AI assistants, while maintaining full ownership of the codebase.

Required profile

• Proven experience building high‑quality, cross‑platform mobile applications with React Native and TypeScript.
• Strong understanding of native iOS/Android development (Swift, Kotlin, Objective‑C) is a plus.
• Track record of delivering apps through the full store deployment process.
• Passion for mobile UX, gestures and animation, and a user‑obsessed mindset.
• Commitment to clean, maintainable code and collaborative teamwork.
