Stairlift Engineer – Southampton

About the role

Stannah is seeking a qualified Stairlift Engineer to join its Southampton service team. You will work on a dedicated route, providing maintenance, repairs and call‑out support for a variety of stairlifts, micro‑lifts and goods lifting equipment in domestic settings.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out scheduled maintenance, emergency call‑outs and repairs on stairlifts and home lifts.
• Ensure all work meets Stannah’s high safety and quality standards.
• Complete risk assessments and maintain accurate site log cards.
• Participate in the on‑call rota, receiving standby allowance and call‑out payments.
• Manage your service route autonomously, covering a wide range of lifting equipment.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Stairlift Engineer or Domestic Engineer within the lift industry.
• At least an NVQ Level 2 in Lift Engineering or equivalent (training provided for the right candidate).
• Valid UK driving licence.
• Strong commitment to customer service and safety.
