Station Manager – UK Operations

About the role

Fastned is expanding its network of EV fast‑charging stations across the United Kingdom. The Station Manager will oversee the safe, clean and compliant operation of more than 37 stations, reporting to the Senior Operations Manager and acting as the local point of contact for all operational matters.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with contractual agreements, local regulations and Fastned internal operational guidelines.
• Monitor station performance, equipment functionality, cleanliness and seasonal readiness, taking corrective actions to improve customer experience.
• Produce regular performance reports and maintain accurate records of subcontracted activities and issue resolutions.
• Coordinate with internal maintenance teams and external contractors to schedule maintenance, upgrades and expansions.
• Manage relationships with landlords, authorities and local suppliers, handling contracts and tender processes.
• Act as the primary liaison for routine station matters, communicating updates to internal stakeholders.
• Conduct site visits across the UK and support the warehouse in Stockton as needed.

Required profile

• Proven experience in operations or facilities management, preferably with multiple sites.
• Strong understanding of health, safety and environmental regulations applicable to charging stations.
• Excellent organizational and analytical abilities, with a track record of data‑driven decision making.
• Ability to work independently, travel frequently across the UK and represent the company with professionalism.
• Good communication skills for interacting with internal teams, landlords and external partners.
