Strategy Consultant – Resources

About the role

Accenture is seeking a Strategy Consultant focused on the Resources sector to join its London team. You will work with leading energy, utilities and mining clients as they navigate the transition to low‑carbon solutions and redesign their business models.

Key responsibilities

• Support the delivery of consulting engagements that address complex client challenges.
• Analyse ambiguous business, change and technology problems, providing structured insights under senior guidance.
• Contribute to business development activities, including client research, proposal writing and presentation support.
• Collaborate closely with managers and senior managers, continuously learning and helping to grow the Resources Strategy team.
• Participate in projects such as energy‑transition strategy design, asset‑value optimisation, new operating‑model definition, cost‑productivity improvement, data and AI enablement, and large‑scale transformation programmes.

Required profile

• Consulting or relevant industry experience in the Resources sector (oil & gas, utilities, mining, renewables).
• Strong knowledge of and genuine passion for industry trends, strategic challenges, competitive landscapes and emerging business models.
• Ability to support business development efforts, including client research and proposal preparation.
• Experience or exposure to transformation projects, including operating‑model redesign and technology enablement.
