About the role

This internship is designed for college students who are pursuing a teaching credential. Participants will be placed within a school district to gain hands‑on classroom experience under the supervision of certified teachers.

Key responsibilities

• Assist classroom teachers with lesson planning and delivery.
• Support student learning activities and classroom management.
• Observe and reflect on teaching practices to develop instructional skills.
• Complete required documentation and clearances before starting the placement.

Required profile

• Currently enrolled in a college or university education program.
• Must secure a placement through the college’s student‑teacher program before applying.
• All required background clearances must be current (within the specified time frames).
