Subsidence Claims Technician

About the role

Join a UK‑wide loss adjusting firm as a Subsidence Claims Technician, managing a dedicated caseload of building subsidence claims. You will work remotely while collaborating closely with surveying engineers and other stakeholders to ensure smooth claim resolution.

Key responsibilities

• Manage your own caseload of subsidence claims from initial report to settlement.
• Perform desk‑top handling using digital claims solutions.
• Coordinate with Surveying Engineers to arrange inspections and instructions.
• Liaise with all relevant parties to maintain a seamless claims process.
• Deliver a high standard of customer service throughout each claim.
• Apply technical subsidence expertise to assess and progress claims.
• Meet client SLA’s and KPI’s consistently.

Required profile

• Experience handling building or subsidence claims.
• Good knowledge of insurance principles.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
• Strong IT and systems competency.
• Industry qualifications such as CertCILA or CertCII, or a willingness to obtain them.
