Supply Officer

About the role

We are supporting a leading global manufacturing organisation in Broughton, Cheshire. The Supply Officer will join the Supply Chain Operations team on a 12‑month fixed‑term contract, working 35 hours per week in a hybrid model (minimum three days onsite). This role offers exposure to an international, fast‑paced environment and close collaboration with operations, procurement, suppliers and manufacturing teams.

Key responsibilities

• Manage supplier performance across the end‑to‑end supply chain.
• Monitor demand planning, forecasting and order‑book management.
• Identify supply risks and drive mitigation and recovery actions.
• Maintain MRP master data and support stock optimisation activities.
• Use SAP and digital supply‑chain tools to support decision‑making.
• Coordinate supplier meetings and facilitate cross‑functional collaboration.
• Act as the first point of contact for supply‑chain‑related queries.
• Support supply‑chain transformation and continuous‑improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Experience within supply chain, procurement, manufacturing or engineering environments.
• Strong knowledge of SAP/MRP in a manufacturing setting.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management and problem‑solving abilities.
• Comfortable working in international and cross‑functional teams.
• LEAN and project‑management experience is preferred.
