Supply Teacher – Primary & Secondary Schools

About the role

Prospero Teaching is partnering with a range of respected primary and secondary schools across North London and North West London. They are looking for enthusiastic, reliable supply teachers to step into classrooms, deliver engaging lessons and maintain a positive learning environment when regular teachers are absent.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver pre‑planned lessons and learning activities across various year groups and subjects.
• Manage classroom behaviour effectively and positively.
• Adapt quickly to different school settings and timetables.
• Foster an inclusive, supportive atmosphere for all pupils.
• Ensure students stay engaged and on track with their learning objectives.
• Follow each school’s policies, safeguarding procedures and health & safety guidelines.

Required profile

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), PGCE or equivalent teaching qualification.
• Experience teaching within UK schools.
• Strong classroom management abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Flexible, professional and proactive approach.
• Genuine passion for education and supporting young people.
