System Administrator

About the role

Cintra, a fast‑growing payroll software provider, is seeking a System Administrator to join its IT team in Newcastle upon Tyne. Reporting to the Head of IT, you will support users through ticketing, manage cloud and on‑prem infrastructure, and help maintain a secure, resilient environment.

Key responsibilities

• Provide first‑line support to users via an ITSM ticketing system.
• Administer and monitor Azure and AWS resources.
• Manage Windows and macOS endpoints using Intune and Kandji.
• Maintain Windows Server and SQL Server resilience.
• Document procedures, troubleshoot incidents, and contribute to continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Proven experience with Microsoft Azure, Windows Server and Microsoft 365.
• Strong endpoint management skills on Windows and macOS platforms.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize tickets and deliver quality support.
• Calm under pressure, proactive and collaborative.
