Systems Accountant – Private Equity

About the role

This newly created Systems Accountant position supports a fast‑growing private‑equity firm in London. The role is permanent, with a hybrid working model that requires office attendance only three days per month.

Key responsibilities

• Own and maintain finance systems, ensuring data integrity and optimal performance.
• Lead acquisition onboarding, consolidation and system integration projects.
• Drive optimisation and continuous improvement of financial processes.
• Manage data and integration across platforms.
• Partner with business units and suppliers to support finance operations.
• Support change‑management initiatives related to system upgrades.

Required profile

• Qualified accountant with solid knowledge of UK GAAP and Financial Planning & Analysis (FPA).
• Minimum 5 years’ experience implementing NetSuite in a finance environment.
• Proven track record in M&A integration and finance‑transformation projects.
• Ability to work closely with the Finance Director and senior stakeholders.

Required skills

• NetSuite implementation and administration.
