Systems Sales Engineer (Enterprise)

About the role

Forward is seeking a Systems (Sales) Engineer to act as the primary technical resource for large enterprise accounts, helping to sell its network digital twin platform. The role blends deep networking expertise with sales acumen to guide customers through technical evaluations and demonstrations.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the main technical advisor for the sales team, engaging with large enterprise customers throughout the sales cycle.
• Drive technology evaluation, answer technical questions, and communicate business value to stakeholders at all levels.
• Develop and deliver product demos, proofs‑of‑concept, and respond to RFIs/RFPs.
• Assess technical feasibility, qualify deployments, and convey customer requirements to product and engineering teams.
• Represent Forward at conferences, seminars, and partner events.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience selling networking or related software solutions to enterprise customers.
• Strong understanding of networking and security solutions and major vendors.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills focused on needs analysis and business justification.
• Superior presentation abilities.

Required skills

• Hands‑on knowledge of networking and security technologies.
• Experience with API‑driven workflows and scripting languages such as Python, bash, jq, and GraphQL.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., CCIE, JNCIE, VCDX) are highly desired.
