Tax Manager (6-Month Fixed-Term Contract)

About the role

This 6‑month fixed‑term opportunity is with a high‑growth global fintech based in London. Reporting to the Head of Tax, you will own corporate tax compliance across a complex international structure and work closely with senior stakeholders, external advisors and auditors.

Key responsibilities

• Manage UK and international corporate tax compliance across multiple jurisdictions.
• Review and oversee work completed by external tax advisors, ensuring accurate and timely filings.
• Prepare and support tax reporting, including current and deferred tax calculations and US GAAP tax provisions.
• Partner with auditors and tax authorities on compliance matters, audits and enquiries.
• Monitor legislative changes and assess business impact.
• Support international tax projects such as transfer pricing, new entity launches and process improvements.
• Drive enhancements to tax controls, governance and reporting processes.

Required profile

• Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or equivalent) and qualified tax professional (CTA).
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in corporate tax compliance, preferably within financial services or fintech.
• Proven experience managing UK and US/international corporate tax compliance.
• Solid understanding of US GAAP tax accounting and corporate tax reporting.
• Strong ability to manage external advisors and build relationships with internal stakeholders.
