Tax Manager, EMEA

About the role

Aristocrat is expanding its global tax function and seeks an experienced Tax Manager for the EMEA region. You will support tax compliance, reporting and operational tax matters across multiple jurisdictions, working closely with finance, legal and external advisers.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the timely and accurate preparation and submission of direct and indirect tax filings across EMEA jurisdictions.
• Coordinate tax compliance processes, including return review and audit support, ensuring adherence to local tax laws and internal policies.
• Support the preparation of tax provisions for EMEA entities in line with local GAAP and IFRS.
• Handle operational tax matters such as withholding taxes, VAT compliance, tax registrations and tax audits.
• Work with global tax and finance teams to implement consistent procedures and drive efficiency.
• Maintain up‑to‑date tax compliance calendars and documentation, managing risk and control.
• Identify opportunities for automation and process improvement within compliance and provisioning cycles.
• Act as the primary contact for internal stakeholders and external consultants on EMEA tax matters.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of corporate tax compliance experience in a multinational organisation or Big 4/public accounting environment.
• Professional qualification in Tax, Accounting or Finance (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CTA) preferred.
• Strong technical knowledge of EMEA direct and indirect tax rules, reporting obligations and tax accounting standards.
• Excellent organisational skills and a collaborative approach to working within an international team.
