Tax Manager – International & Employment Tax

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Tax Manager to lead employment and international tax compliance for a fast‑growing engineering and construction services firm in London. Reporting to the Head of Finance, you will support the company’s expansion from 100 to 200 staff across multiple European jurisdictions.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee employment, international and workforce tax compliance for personnel deployed across Europe.
• Provide strategic tax advice on payroll, social security and cross‑border workforce issues.
• Develop and maintain tax governance frameworks and policies.
• Collaborate with Finance, HR, Global Mobility, Payroll and Legal teams, as well as external advisers.
• Support the company’s growth plan by managing tax aspects of international workforce planning.

Required profile

• Qualified accountant or CTA with a degree in Tax or Accountancy.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in employment or international tax.
• Proven track record managing tax obligations for globally mobile employees.
• Strong analytical and stakeholder‑management abilities.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel for financial modelling and salary‑calculator development.
