Teaching Assistant – Primary School (EYFS & KS1)

About the role

Reeson Education is partnering with a thriving primary school in Manchester to recruit a full‑time Teaching Assistant. You will support pupils across the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and Key Stage 1 (KS1), including those with SEND, helping to create an inclusive learning environment.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the class teacher in delivering lessons and classroom activities.
• Provide targeted group interventions as directed by the teacher.
• Communicate professionally with staff, pupils, and parents.
• Support behaviour management and offer additional help to children as needed.
• Monitor pupil progress and share updates with the class teacher.

Required profile

• Enthusiastic, adaptable and patient individual.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Strong commitment to safeguarding and willingness to undergo an enhanced DBS check.
• Relevant qualifications such as a Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant Diploma are desirable.

Required skills

• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to build positive relationships with pupils, teachers and parents.
