About the role
Nurture Education is recruiting enthusiastic Teaching Assistants to support pupils in inclusive primary schools across London. You will work closely with teachers to enhance learning experiences and help create a safe, nurturing classroom environment.
Key responsibilities
- Support the class teacher in delivering engaging lessons.
- Work with individual pupils and small groups to reinforce learning.
- Assist with classroom preparation and organisation of learning resources.
- Support pupils with varying learning needs, including SEND where required.
- Encourage positive behaviour, confidence and independence.
- Help create a safe, nurturing and inclusive learning environment.
- Support pupils' academic, social and emotional development.
- Contribute positively to the wider life of the school.
Required profile
- Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant, Learning Support Assistant or in a school setting (desirable).
- A genuine passion for supporting children's education and development.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A patient, caring and proactive approach.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.
