Teaching Assistant – Science/Maths Support (Full‑time)

About the role
We are seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join an outstanding all‑girls school in central London. The role starts in September and focuses on supporting pupils in Science or Mathematics across the classroom.
Key responsibilities
- Provide one‑to‑one or small‑group academic support in Science or Maths.
- Assist the teacher with lesson preparation and delivery.
- Promote an inclusive, positive classroom atmosphere.
- Implement behaviour management strategies and positive reinforcement techniques.
- Follow safeguarding policies to ensure student wellbeing.
Required profile
- Applicants with a background or degree in Science or Mathematics are preferred.
- Open to candidates at any stage of their teaching assistant career.
- Motivation to develop a school‑based career, potentially progressing to teaching.
