Team Leader – Retail Store Management

About the role

The Body Shop is looking for a proactive Team Leader to support store management in driving sales, profit and an exceptional customer experience. You will coach and supervise customer consultants, step in for management when needed, and champion the brand’s ethical values.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and coach customer consultants to deliver outstanding service and meet sales targets.
• Act as the point of contact in the absence of store management, ensuring brand standards and operational procedures are followed.
• Handle customer concerns promptly, share feedback with management and contribute to continuous improvement.
• Maintain store layout, manage inventory and support day‑to‑day store operations according to guidelines.
• Use product storytelling to enhance the customer experience and drive sales trends.
• Perform opening and closing procedures, complete audit documentation and assist with recruitment and training of new staff.

Required profile

• Experience in customer service with a genuine passion for beauty and retail.
• Strong communication and listening skills, able to build rapport and provide effective solutions.
• Positive mindset, willingness to develop and ability to multitask in a fast‑paced environment.
• Flexible availability to work varied hours, including opening and closing shifts.
• Collaborative attitude with the ability to support change, train teammates and uphold brand values.
