Technical Account Manager – UK & EMEA

About the role

As a Technical Account Manager you will own post‑sale success for Socket’s European customers, guiding them from onboarding through ongoing adoption. You will act as the primary technical advisor, troubleshoot issues, and partner with sales to drive renewals and expansions.

Key responsibilities

• Own the post‑sales relationship, conduct quarterly business reviews and build measurable success plans.
• Lead technical onboarding, configure Socket across CI/CD pipelines, IDEs and internal tooling, and create repeatable playbooks.
• Investigate and resolve integration, configuration and compatibility issues using logs, telemetry and direct collaboration with engineering.
• Run discovery conversations, translate product capabilities into developer‑friendly guidance, and deliver workshops and deep‑dives.
• Gather technical feedback, surface patterns for product road‑maps and contribute to documentation and internal tooling.

Required profile

• 6+ years in a technical customer‑facing role such as Solutions Engineer, Technical Account Manager or Support Engineer.
• 2+ years as the dedicated point of contact for customers, with a focus on quarterly health checks and success.
• Background in application security, DevSecOps or open‑source ecosystems.
• Experience with developer tooling and CI/CD platforms (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, CircleCI, etc.).
• Ability to read and reason about code in JavaScript, Python or TypeScript.
• Willingness to travel for customer meetings and located within Europe.
