Technical Business Analyst – Data & Operations

About the role

We are looking for a Technical Business Analyst to turn questions into clarity and data into action within a fast‑moving creative agency. You will sit at the heart of Operations, partnering with Finance, Client Services and senior leadership to ensure the business runs on accurate, meaningful data.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to understand challenges, opportunities and data needs.
• Design, build and maintain Power BI dashboards (including Fabric, Direct Lake and DAX).
• Analyse commercial, operational and resourcing data to uncover trends and support decision‑making.
• Validate and query data models, troubleshoot issues and improve data quality.
• Support process improvements, system upgrades and new platform implementations.
• Communicate insights clearly to non‑technical audiences and foster strong stakeholder relationships.
• Champion data governance, privacy and quality standards.

Required profile

• Strong analytical mindset with a structured problem‑solving approach.
• Advanced Excel, Power BI, DAX and SQL proficiency.
• Experience gathering requirements and supporting system or process change.
• Ability to explain technical concepts simply and confidently.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Highly organised, curious and commercially aware.
• Background in business or data analysis within project‑based or creative environments.
