Technical Dual Run & Cutover Project Manager

About the role

This contract position supports a global SAP S/4HANA transformation, ensuring that SAP ECC and SAP S/4HANA run in parallel while maintaining business continuity, data integrity and financial control. The role is based in London and involves coordinating technology delivery across multiple deployment waves.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end technology delivery for Dual Run, covering establishment, operation, stabilisation and controlled exit of SAP ECC, SAP S/4HANA and connected systems.
• Develop and maintain integrated Dual Run and technical cutover plans for applications, interfaces, data, infrastructure, security, testing, environments and service management.
• Coordinate application releases, data migration, interface activation, security provisioning, infrastructure changes and production validation.
• Run mock cutovers, rehearsals and readiness reviews, feeding lessons learned into subsequent deployment waves.
• Manage coexistence of SAP ECC and SAP S/4HANA, including data synchronisation, transaction routing, reconciliation and exception handling.

Required profile

• Significant experience leading technical deployment, cutover or release activities within large‑scale ERP or business transformation programmes.
• Proven experience supporting SAP ECC to SAP S/4HANA migration, deployment or transition programmes.
• Experience coordinating global teams, system integrators, suppliers and business stakeholders in a matrix organisation.
