Technical Lead – Data Hub Integration (Remote Contract)

About the role

We are looking for a Technical Lead to own the delivery of our Data Tech Hub integration layer. This remote contract role focuses on building and operating the outbound publishing capabilities that distribute canonical data to downstream platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Own end‑to‑end delivery of the Technical Hub integration layer, especially the outbound event publishing service.
• Design and implement data distribution and event publishing patterns using Azure SQL Managed Instance and Azure Service Bus.
• Develop and maintain services that reliably publish canonical data changes to platform consumers.
• Ensure resilience of the integration layer with retry strategies, dead‑letter handling, observability and replay support.
• Contribute to the legacy integration gateway used during platform‑to‑legacy coexistence.
• Collaborate with architects, platform teams and DevOps/SRE to align with the overall Data Integration Strategy.
• Coordinate delivery across integration engineers, DevOps/SRE and platform teams to guarantee consistent implementation and operation.

Required profile

• Strong technical expertise in Azure‑based integration and messaging patterns.
• Proven ability to lead engineering delivery for shared platform capabilities.
• Experience working with integration engineers, data engineers and platform teams in a remote environment.
