Technical Product Analyst – Infrastructure Modernisation

About the role

At the Institute of Chartered Accountants England & Wales (ICAEW) you will join a team focused on modernising the organisation’s infrastructure. The Technical Product Analyst will support planning and delivery of infrastructure modernisation initiatives, acting as a bridge between engineers, architects, vendors and business stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with infrastructure engineers, architects and business stakeholders to gather requirements and map existing technical landscapes.
• Identify system dependencies, integration points and risks linked to infrastructure changes such as server migrations and identity management upgrades.
• Support Delivery Leads and Engineers in tracking work packages, RAID items and technical actions across sprints or project plans.
• Create and maintain detailed documentation for designs, implementation steps, testing criteria and change records.
• Monitor and report delivery progress, risks and issue resolution in partnership with Delivery Leads and Programme Managers.

Required profile

• Previous experience in IT infrastructure, business analysis or IT project coordination.
• Exposure to large‑scale infrastructure transformations such as data‑centre migration, cloud adoption or network/security redesign.
• Familiarity with enterprise infrastructure components and hybrid on‑premise/cloud environments.
