Temporary General Operative & Material Coordinator Roles

About the role

Lotus UK Manufacturing is seeking immediate‑start General Operatives and Material Coordinators on a temporary basis. You will work in a fast‑paced, high‑quality production environment, supporting assembly, paint, logistics and material handling activities.

Key responsibilities

• Assemble, fit and prepare component parts using hand or power tools.
• Inspect, rework and ensure components meet documented quality standards.
• Handle, move and distribute materials and stock across production areas.
• Perform stock checks, booking in/out and material tracking.
• Support daily production output by meeting quality and quantity targets.
• Report shortages, defects or process concerns to team leaders.
• Operate manual handling equipment and maintain tools, PPE and a clean, safe workspace.
• Provide flexible cover across different production lines as required.

Required profile

• Ability to follow written instructions and documented processes.
• Good hand‑eye coordination, manual dexterity and physical fitness.
• Capability to work under time constraints while maintaining quality.
• Strong communication, reliable and self‑disciplined attitude.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing work requirements or shift patterns.
• Proficiency in English.
