Test Rig Electrical Design Placement (12.5 months)

About the role

You will join the Laboratory Test Means development team, responsible for the development, modification and maintenance of test rigs for Fuel and Landing Gear Systems. The role involves end‑to‑end development of new test rigs, supporting modifications, troubleshooting, and working in a hands‑on, non‑office environment.

Key responsibilities

• End‑to‑end development of new test rigs, from requirements capture to commissioning.
• Support modification of existing test rigs to meet new test requests.
• Troubleshoot test rig issues.
• Utilise AutoCAD and other tools to produce electrical schematics and PCB layouts.
• Work within prototyping areas, avionic and fluid‑mechanical test rigs.

Required profile

• Undergraduate degree in electrical/electronics/mechatronics.
• Experience with 3D drawing tools and relevant engineering modules (fluid mechanics, mathematics, physics).
• Commitment to safety protocols and a collaborative mindset.
