Training Facilitator – South West (Judicial College)

About the role

The Judicial College is seeking a full‑time Training Facilitator to deliver magistrates’ training across the South West region. The role is based at Bristol Magistrates, Exeter Law Courts and North Somerset Magistrates' Court and supports the Judicial Office’s mission to uphold the rule of law through high‑quality judicial education.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, prepare and deliver training sessions for magistrates and judicial office holders in the South West.
• Work closely with the Magistrates’ Training Delivery Team to ensure training programmes meet national standards.
• Provide on‑site support during training events and assist with post‑training evaluation.
• Maintain training records and contribute to the continuous improvement of course materials.

Required profile

• Full‑time availability for a role based in the South West of England.
• Willingness to travel between Bristol, Exeter and North Somerset locations.
• Experience in adult learning, training delivery or a related field is desirable.
