ULR Claim Handler – Level 2

About the role

The ULR Claim Handler will manage a caseload of pre‑litigated and low‑value litigated motor claims for corporate clients. This permanent, full‑time position is based in Liverpool and operates on a hybrid schedule, with one day in the office and the remainder remote.

Key responsibilities

• Manage pre‑litigated motor claims up to £25k, including high‑value and complex matters from inception to settlement.
• Handle litigated motor claims up to £10k.
• Identify cases suitable for early litigation with high success prospects and low risk.
• Maintain accurate data and ensure proper data upkeep.
• Interact with clients and provide high‑quality service.
• Mentor, train and act as a technical referral point for team members.

Required profile

• Qualified solicitor or CILEX professional with appropriate practice rights (CILEX lawyers also considered).
• Experience in ULR RTA handling of pre‑litigated matters.
• Full claim‑cycle experience, including quantum assessment, liability investigation and settlement negotiation.
• Strong customer service background and ability to mentor new starters.

Required skills

• Effective use of email for communication.
