UX/UI Lead – 6 month fixed term (Hybrid)

About the role

We are partnering with a purpose‑driven organisation that is expanding its digital product portfolio. As a UX/UI Lead on a six‑month fixed‑term contract, you will own the end‑to‑end design of customer‑facing web and mobile experiences, working in a hybrid setting based in London.

Key responsibilities

• Lead UX and UI design across a portfolio of websites and applications, from research to high‑fidelity delivery.
• Conduct user research, usability testing and journey mapping to inform product decisions.
• Create wireframes, prototypes and visual designs that solve real user problems.
• Develop and maintain a scalable design system and reusable component library.
• Facilitate workshops and collaborate with product managers, engineers and other stakeholders.
• Champion accessibility (WCAG AA), responsive design and user‑first thinking.
• Mentor and help grow a small design team, prioritising workload and output.
• Contribute to product strategy and roadmap planning.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading UX/UI design for digital products.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating strategic thinking and hands‑on design.
• Experience working in Agile product teams.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
